Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The service is operated by RapDuo (operator details to be finalised before launch) (“RapDuo”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@rapduo.video.

2. The service

RapDuo turns photos you upload into short AI-generated rap music videos, with original AI-generated vocals, beats and lip-sync. Creating a video requires an account. Signing up is free and needs no card, and a new account with a verified email receives 10 welcome credits once. Further videos and higher-quality models use credits. Finished videos are watermark-free and can be downloaded.

All output is generated by AI. It is an original creation in a general genre or visual style. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any artist, label, brand or venue, and it does not use any real artist’s voice, likeness or recordings.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use RapDuo. Do not upload photos of, or create videos of, anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor we will close it.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Tell us promptly at support@rapduo.video if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Your content and consent

You keep ownership of the photos and text you provide (“Your Input”). You give us a limited licence to store, process and transform Your Input, including by sending it to our processing providers, solely to generate your video and operate the service.

By uploading a photo you confirm that:

• you own it or have the right to use it;
• every identifiable person in it is an adult who has given you clear permission to be used in an AI-generated video; and
• your use does not infringe anyone’s privacy, publicity, copyright or other rights.

You may not create videos of real people to deceive others, harass them, or imply that they said or endorsed something they did not. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Generated videos

Subject to these terms and to payment of any applicable credits, we assign to you our rights, if any, in the video generated for you. Because AI output can be similar across users and the law on AI-generated works is evolving, we cannot promise that any output is protected by copyright or free of third-party claims.

Where a video is shared through a public link, you should treat it as public. You are responsible for how you use and share your videos. We ask that you disclose that a video is AI-generated when you post it, and we recommend labelling it clearly.

We may use anonymous, aggregated statistics to improve the service. We do not use your uploaded photos or generated videos to train our own models, and we do not sell them.

7. Credits and payments

Credits are a prepaid balance used to pay for video generation and downloads. The number of credits a job costs is shown before you confirm it and depends on the quality tier, resolution and duration you choose. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.

Credit packs are one-time purchases. Subscription plans renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not redeemable for money except as stated in our Refund Policy.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may exclude taxes that we are required to collect. We may change prices for future purchases; changes never affect credits you already hold.

8. Failed jobs and availability

If a render fails or is blocked by our content safety check, the credits spent on it are returned to your balance automatically. We aim to keep the service available, but it depends on third-party infrastructure and AI models, so we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any particular result will match your expectations.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse, remove or block any content and suspend or terminate accounts that break it, with or without notice where the breach is serious.

10. Intellectual property

The RapDuo name, logo, website, software and the models and prompts we build are ours or our licensors’. These terms do not grant you rights in them beyond using the service as intended.

If you believe content on RapDuo infringes your rights, or shows you without your consent, follow the process in section 13.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RapDuo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You can stop using RapDuo and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@rapduo.video. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we must do so to comply with law. Unused credits on an account we terminate for a serious breach may be forfeited.

13. Complaints, takedowns and copyright

To report a video that infringes your copyright, shows you without your consent, or breaks our rules, email support@rapduo.video with: the link to the video, your name and contact details, a description of the problem, and (for copyright) proof that you own the rights. We review reports promptly, remove content that clearly breaches these terms or the law, and may notify the account holder. Repeat infringers will have their accounts closed.

14. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts in that jurisdiction have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere. Please contact us first at support@rapduo.video so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
