AI Rap Video Pricing: Sign-Up Credits and How Credits Work

AI video is expensive to produce. Every second of generated footage uses real GPU time, and better quality costs more. Most tools hide that behind vague "credit" systems that leave you guessing what a clip will cost. We would rather show our maths. This article explains what you get when you sign up, how credits are calculated, what packs and plans cost, and when it makes sense to pay.

Prices below reflect the launch pricing at the time of writing. The pricing page always shows the current figures, and the generator shows the exact credit cost of each job before you confirm.

What you get when you sign up

Nobody can generate a video without an account. You can browse, upload photos, pick a stage and write a topic, and pressing generate asks you to sign up. Signing up is free and needs no card. After that:

• Verify your email. Once your email is verified, your account gets 3 welcome credits, once.
• Exactly one video. 3 credits is exactly one 5-second Lite 480p video, the lowest tier.
• No card required. You only add a payment method if you later buy credits.
• No watermark. Finished videos are downloadable MP4s, stored for 30 days.

The goal is to let you judge quality on a real, finished video rather than a teaser. It is a one-time welcome gift, not a free video factory, which is how we can afford to offer it.

One click, two automatic steps

When you press generate, two steps run on their own. First, your two photos are composed onto the stage you chose as a single scene image, which you see as a scene preview while the video renders. Second, that scene becomes the first frame of the lip-synced rap video. The scene preview is an early check that the faces look like your photos and the stage feels right.

What paying gets you

• More videos. Every 10 credits makes another Lite 720p video of 12 seconds. Credits pay for every render after your welcome credits.
• Downloadable MP4. Save it, post it and share it.
• Higher-quality tiers and resolutions. Pro, Ultra and Ultra Plus, 720p and 1080p, and longer durations.
• No watermark on any video. Note that we still recommend labelling your posts as AI-generated.

The simplest path is: sign up, make your first video with your welcome credits, then buy a pack or a plan when you want more.

How credits are calculated

Credits are priced per 12-second clip and scale in a straight line with duration. There are four quality tiers.

Lite

• 480p: 5 credits per 12 seconds
• 720p: 10 credits per 12 seconds
• Maximum length: 15 seconds

Pro

• 480p: 8 credits per 12 seconds
• 720p: 17 credits per 12 seconds
• Maximum length: 15 seconds

Ultra

• 480p: 10 credits per 12 seconds
• 720p: 20 credits per 12 seconds
• 1080p: 50 credits per 12 seconds
• Maximum length: 15 seconds

Ultra Plus

• 480p: 17 credits per 12 seconds
• 720p: 37 credits per 12 seconds
• 1080p: 93 credits per 12 seconds
• Maximum length: 30 seconds

The formula is: credits = base cost x seconds / 12, rounded up, with a minimum of 1. A few worked examples:

• A 12-second Lite 480p clip: 5 credits.
• A 12-second Lite 720p clip: 10 credits.
• A 15-second Lite 720p clip: 13 credits (12.5 rounded up).
• A 12-second Pro 720p clip: 17 credits.
• A 12-second Ultra 1080p clip: 50 credits.
• A 30-second Ultra Plus 720p clip: 93 credits (92.5 rounded up).

Notice how steeply the cost rises with resolution and tier. 1080p Ultra Plus costs almost 19 times as much as Lite 480p. That is a real reflection of compute cost, not an arbitrary markup. For a meme or a social post, Lite is often all you need.

Credit packs and plans

One-time packs

• Starter: 400 credits for $99, about 40 standard songs.
• Creator: 1,000 credits for $199, about 100 standard songs. Our most popular pack.
• Studio: 3,300 credits for $499, about 330 standard songs.

Monthly plans

• Basic: 120 credits every month for $29.90.
• Pro: 350 credits every month for $49.90.
• Studio: 900 credits every month for $99.90.

Larger packs cost less per credit. Starter works out to about 25 cents a credit, while the Studio pack is about 15 cents. If you make videos occasionally, a one-time pack is simpler because there is no renewal. If you make them weekly, such as for a channel, a plan tends to be cheaper. You can cancel a plan at any time, and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Which option suits you?

• Trying it out: sign up and use your welcome credits. Pay nothing.
• One birthday or one joke: your welcome credits may already cover it, otherwise a Starter pack.
• A few clips a month: Creator pack.
• A regular creator or small business: a monthly plan or the Studio pack.
• A special video that should look its best: iterate on Lite, then render the final in Ultra.

How to spend fewer credits

1. Iterate in Lite 480p. It is the cheapest way to test photos, lyrics and stage.
2. Change one variable at a time. Random experiments waste credits.
3. Keep clips short. 10 to 12 seconds is usually enough for a punchline. Cost is proportional to length.
4. Get the photos right first. Most disappointing results trace back to the input photo. Our photo guide helps you avoid wasted renders.
5. Write tight lyrics. Lines that are too long cause lip-sync issues and a redo.

What happens when a render fails

AI generation sometimes fails: a provider times out, a job crashes, an upstream model returns an error. If a render fails, or is blocked by our content safety check, the credits it cost are returned to your balance automatically, usually within minutes, with no need to contact support. What is not refundable

Once a video has generated successfully, the credits are spent. A video that generated correctly but is not the joke you imagined counts as a delivered result. That is why we suggest getting the photos and topic right first, and using the scene preview to spot problems early.

Why we are open about costs

Trust matters more than a clever funnel. If you can see exactly what a clip costs and why, you can decide sensibly, and we would rather have a customer who returns because the maths worked than one who felt tricked. If our numbers ever change, the pricing page will show it first.
