Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is RapDuo (operator details to be finalised before launch). Questions and requests: support@rapduo.video.

2. What we collect

• Account data: email address and sign-in details (or the identifier from a social sign-in provider you choose).
• Content you provide: photos you upload, the lyrics or topic text you enter, and your style choices.
• Generated content: the videos, audio and scene preview images we create for you.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive limited information such as payment status, the last four card digits, and billing country, but not your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and error logs, used for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics. To prevent abuse of the free trial, we process hashed values (not the raw values) of your IP address and a device fingerprint, and we keep them only as hashes.
• Support messages you send us.

We do not knowingly collect biometric templates for identification. Faces in your photos are processed only to animate and lip-sync your video.

3. How we use it

• To generate, preview, deliver and let you download your videos.
• To run your account, process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To respond to support requests and send service messages such as receipts and job-complete notices.
• To measure and improve reliability and quality of the service using aggregated data.
• To meet legal obligations, including tax and takedown handling.

Our legal bases, where applicable, are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded photos or generated videos to train AI models.

4. How long we keep it

• Uploaded source photos: deleted within 24 hours after your job finishes (or fails).
• Generated videos and previews: kept for 30 days so that you can watch and download them, then deleted. You can delete a video earlier from your dashboard.
• Account and billing records: kept while your account is open and as long as needed afterwards for tax, accounting and dispute purposes.
• Security and error logs: kept for a limited period, generally no longer than 90 days.

Deleted content may persist in encrypted backups for a short time before being overwritten.

5. Who we share data with

We use trusted service providers (sub-processors) that process data on our instructions:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Cloudflare for content delivery, storage, network security and DDoS protection.
• Third-party AI model providers for AI video, image and audio generation, which receive the photos and text needed to create your video.
• Third-party content-safety and GPU compute providers for checking uploads and prompts and for running rendering and processing jobs.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer, with notice where required. We do not share your data with advertisers.

6. International transfers

Our providers operate in several countries, including outside your own. Where personal data is transferred across borders we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, and we limit what is shared to what is needed to deliver the service.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure the service. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email support@rapduo.video from your account address. We will respond within the time required by law. You can also delete videos yourself from your dashboard.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, private storage with time-limited links, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us straight away if you suspect a problem.

10. Children

RapDuo is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and you must not upload photos of minors. If you believe a minor’s data has been submitted, contact support@rapduo.video and we will delete it.

11. Changes
